The article was too short to go into too much depth about any of the topics that were covered in the article. Despite the last stat, America does have the largest amount of smartphones in use.
This article is largely informative and lacks any kind of stance on the topic and its impacts on society. The effectiveness of the article, as an informative article, was impressive. It was a solid, beginning article to learn about smartphones around the world. As far as the impact on society, this article lacked substance and information. The information was sound, but it did not help my research on the impacts smartphones have on society, so it was ineffective.

This article is surprisingly very effective in portraying some of the negative impacts smartphones have had on society. Though the video is comedic, the visuals help exaggerate the effects the smartphone has had on society. The source was very effective in portraying the idea that the more society uses smartphones, the more they will miss. The visual component of this source originally appeared unprofessional, but the source ended up being very effective in portraying the strong integrated smartphones in society and how they are very distracting.
